SMLR Advising and Academic Services
University College provides pre-admission services, general advising and administrative support for current students directly admitted into the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Labor and Employment Relations (BSLER).
The primary service of the following SMLR staff will be to support your success through advising and academic programming to strengthen student academic performance and retention through degree completion. Advising is an essential part of your Rutgers education. Talking about personal, educational, career and life goals establishes a shared relationship between you, the student, and us the advisors. Developmental advising is extremely effective and responds to, and creates, growth and change within you. Our joint goal is Student Success - preparing you to develop your knowledge, sense of responsibility and self-reliance - by joining with you to give you a lasting student experience, deep connection to Rutgers-New Brunswick and the wider University community now and after you graduate.
